Today saw Julie and I revisit Te Papa Tongarewa to view the Natural World exhibition plus the very sobering exhibition, created by Sir Peter Jackson (the NZ film director who directed the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies),of New Zealand’s experience of the The Great War in Gallipoli in WW1.

We followed this by visiting the Museum of Wellington before setting off the meet C & M who had flown down from Auckland…and experienced one of the dodgy landings this airport is famous for!

Since I am posting this so late I will have to let the following images speak for themselves..😊🇳🇿

Back at The Whyte Mansion (aka The Whyte House😉) C&M met up with Lucy, with whom, many years ago, they had both attended primary school and only seen one since..as usual it was as though the passage of years meant nothing😊

Tales exchanged, laughs had we all retired early in anticipation of what Hogmanay might be like “upside down”😉
