Breakfast, another fab offering, was served at 7am, so an earlier start for us!
Conditions were more overcast as we made our way back to Deep Cove to disembark at c. 12.30 pm

We then reversed the coach ride and crossing of Lake Manapouri to complete a most memorable experience..
First task was lunch in Te Anau; fortunately, the Kiwis have made an art form of baking pies 😉
Our plan was to next to explore the West Coast, so we needed to head back to Queenstown along the east shore of Lake Wakatipu – think Loch Linnhe to Fort William in 25C and 3 times the size!
This time we’d managed to book a site in town, and discovered that if Heineken made campsites…
After a wee wander around the town centre we headed back to this idyllic spot☺️
