When contemplating our BTDU (Big Trip Down Under..) we thought we would prefer to create an online journal of this “once in a lifetime” experience rather than post on the usual social media platforms – plus we get to learn, hopefully, a new skill in the process!
When adding new posts we shall try to follow that well worn old adage of “long enough to cover the essentials, but short enough to remain interesting” – fingers crossed we succeed and don’t have our professional editor friends reeling in horror, debating the merits of “the Oxford comma”…
We hope that as the days pass we become more capable of using the tech, and will endeavour not to over complicate matters just because we now can!
Finally, with regard to images we load, we hope they are more interesting than Instagrammable…
